Official Opening of German Roundhouse

State Secretary Thomas Griese of the German region Rheinland Pfalz officially opened the Roundhouse of the Kordel family on the 7th of April. ID Agro built the Roundhouse which is part of a European LEADER Project. The State Secretary spoke in his speech of a successful project which combined preservation of nature while maintaining the cultural value of the landscape and creating a touristic attraction. Together with Leo, Sea and Jan Kordel the State Secretatary cut the ribbon to declare the Roundhouse officially opened. The Kordel family will keep Glan cows. This is an old German breed which is typical for the Eifel and which they try to maintain for future generations. This was the second Roundhouse erected in Germany and there is now a third under construction.
