Another world first from Roundhouse

From Leicestershire we moved up to Dundee and the Glamis Estate where we achieved another world first for Roundhouse and erected two buildings side by side for the farm's dry sows.

This project was a benchmark for RBSL and Farms Director David Soutar was more than impressed at the speed at which his two buildings were constructed in what was quite simply the coldest and worst conditions for erecting one Roundhouse let alone two!!

The first building was in use the week after the 3-man erection team left site, housing the first 240 dry sows.  The second building came into use two weeks after that.  These are our 2nd and 3rd pig Roundhouses after the Sheepdrove unit that was completed in 2007.
