Scotland Gets Another Roundhouse

We have just completed the erection of our fourth Scottish Roundhouse for Mr and Mrs Picken, at Balmangan Farm near Borgue in Dumfries. 2010 will see a good spread of Roundhouses in Scotland with a further two with planning permission and grant approval.

Mr and Mrs Picken's Roundhouse will soon be a working beef unit and will open to the public and farmers alike at this years Open Farm Sunday on June 13th. Open Farm Sunday is a completely free event and the Picken's invite you to come along see the Roundhouse, look around the farm and see how food is made.
